Publishing academic articles – why, how and where?

The Polin institute and the Donner Institute invite doctoral students and researchers in the study of religion and theology to a joint seminar on publishing academic articles.

Why should I publish my research as an article? What should I think about when I prepare my manuscript? How do editors value submissions? What comments can I expect from external reviewers? How long is the publishing process?

These and many more questions will be answered by a panel of journal editors: Cecilia Nahnfeldt, Minna Opas and Sofia Sjö.

The panel will be followed by an open discussion where everyone can share their experiences and thoughts regarding publishing academic articles.
We conclude the seminar with coffee. After the seminar there is the option to go out for dinner together (at everyone’s own expense).
